descrizione
One of the best trail of my life for so many reasons (view, length, difficulty, diversity of the territory, etc.). From Rifugio Stella Alpina going up to Rifugio Principe passing by the Rifugio Violet (more than 600 meters difference in altitude). We were supposed to do the Ferrata d’Antermoia, but it was risky because of the presence of the snow that covered the ropes in some passage. We swap for another way and it was great too! Going other 200 meters up to Cima de Lausa (almost a 3.000 mountain) from where a wonderful 360° panorama can be seen. Clockwise: Sasso Piatto and Longo, Gruppo Sella, Tofane and Cristall of Cortina, Antelao, Pelmo, Marmolada, Civetta, Cima Uomo, Cima Dodici e undici, Pale di san Martino, Latemar and far away also Gran Zebrù, Cevedale, Ortles, …Finished? Not yet! Going down to fantastic Lago d’Antermoia (with Marmolada behind) and going up again to Passo di Lausa at 2700 mt. From there another difficult descent that ends with a short (but hard to do aftrer almos 15 km) Ferrata (called “Scalette” because of the “stairs shape”). The track is very long (almost 20 km) and hard, but it’s worth it…a lot! Difficulty: HARD Evaluation: 10/10
